Top therapists in Jacksonville, FL accepting new patients
With over 17 years of experience practicing therapy with children and teens in a variety of settings I have extensive knowledge helping children and families overcome mental health challenges. I believe in making therapy fun and engaging for your child. If they are struggling with difficulties at home or school, I can teach them coping skills so they can help themselves feel better. I help parents navigate behavioral challenges and will work with you to rebuild your relationship with your child.
My personal journey was not one I would choose. My first husband was diagnosed with cancer in September 2004 and died in February 2006. The experience of spousal caregiving and young widowhood, and 10 years as a federal Special Agent eventually led me to change careers to become a counselor.
I love helping individuals and couples build meaning, self-acceptance, and self-worth despite grief, trauma, shame, and problematic behavior and relationship patterns.
I help clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, women's issues, stress, relationship and perinatal mental health.
