I'm Jeanette, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and co-founder of Full Time Human here in Davie, Florida. I work with individuals, couples, and families, and I run the practice alongside my mother, Doris, so I bring both clinical training and real lived experience in how families work. My focus is helping families through hard moments, whether that's a rough patch between partners, a struggling teen, or a household that just feels out of sync.
My approach is to be present with you during these times, offering a thoughtful and supportive environment as we examine your unique circumstances together.
If you’re looking for a therapist who quietly nods for 50 minutes, I may not be the best fit. My style is active, engaged, direct, and deeply relational.
I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, life transitions, and difficult interpersonal dynamics. Clients often describe feeling both genuinely supported and meaningfully challenged in our work together.
I believe therapy should help people gain insight, shift patterns, improve relationships, and move toward lasting change not just vent for an hour each week.
Many people who seek therapy with me struggle with past trauma and want to feel less scared of life. People who experience trauma often have a hard time setting boundaries, feel bad about themselves, and have people pleasing tendencies. Since I was 15 years old I have been a part of the movement against sexual violence. During my teenage years, I was volunteering with a local rape crisis center. Through therapy services, I assist women overcome sexual abuse and other past trauma.

Building a mental health practice means building relationships, and I take that seriously. My work is rooted in understanding your full story, not just your diagnosis. I work with adults via telehealth, which means care on your schedule and in your own space. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling more grounded and more equipped to move forward.
