Hi, I’m Taylor Garff, a licensed therapist and the founder of Inner Heart Therapy. I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, and identity, especially folks in the LGBTQ+ community or anyone feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands.
I’m someone who believes therapy should feel like a soft place to land, not another thing you have to “get right.” My clients tell me they appreciate my warmth, humor, and ability to hold space for both the hard stuff and the hope. I’ll meet you with curiosity, compassion, and no pressure to be anything other than fully human.
In our work together, we might explore your anxious thoughts, practice ways to feel safer and more grounded in your body, or untangle patterns that keep you stuck. I use a mix of tools, like cognitive-behavioral therapy, nervous system regulation, and the Safe and Sound Protocol, to support you in finding more ease, clarity, and connection in your life.
If you’ve ever felt like you had to explain or defend your experiences, I want you to know you won’t have to do that here. This is a space where all of you is welcome.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I am passionate about creating a space where you can feel safe, supported, and truly understood. My work is rooted in compassion and connection, honoring your unique experiences while helping you move toward healing, balance, and greater peace within yourself. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, celebrate your strengths, and cultivate the meaningful change you’re seeking in your life.
I consider it a privilege to share sacred, confidential space with my clients. If you feel overwhelmed or lacking the necessary support to navigate your circumstances, I am here for you, to collaborate with your progress. It would be a journey of self discovery. I have experience providing support of in events of depression, anxiety or stress management, trauma, love addiction, or other mental health concerns. English/Spanish psychotherapy.
Many of my clients look like they have it together—but inside, they feel stuck, anxious, or emotionally overwhelmed in their relationships. I help adults untangle painful patterns rooted in emotional neglect, people-pleasing, or past relationships that felt confusing or unsafe. Together, we’ll slow down, go deep, and help you get to the root of the issue.
I'm a licensed clinical social worker, military veteran, and military spouse, and I've spent much of my career working with people who are very good at carrying a lot. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, burnout, major life transitions, motherhood, and the pressures that come with demanding roles and relationships. My clinical background includes years of providing and leading behavioral health care in military settings, which has shaped the way I understand resilience, identity, relationships, and what can happen when pressure begins to build. I want therapy to be a place where you can put some of that responsibility down and give some of that attention back to yourself--not another place where you have to hold everything together.
Hi, I’m Zakiya, and I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to show up as your authentic self.
