Top therapists in Florida accepting new patients
I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical counselor (LPCC) in Ohio and TLHT in Florida with telehealth privileges only. I have over 15 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, grief and life transitions. I love to work with people who are motivated to make positive changes in their lives. Please note: I do not write letters for court, ESA, or otherwise. Nor do I fill out out/provide FMLA paperwork. Thank you for your respect on this matter. To best support my clients I have multiple certifications. They are as follows: certified clinical anxiety treatment professional (CCATP), certified grief informed professional (CGP), and a certificated mindfulness informed professional (CMIP). I look forward to meeting you soon. I would love the opportunity to walk with you on your healing journey.
Choosing a therapist is one of the most personal decisions you’ll make, and I believe feeling genuinely understood is the foundation of meaningful change. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University and have spent over a decade working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, relationship challenges, life transitions, and other complex mental health concerns across diverse levels of care.
My style is warm, authentic, and collaborative while remaining grounded in evidence-based treatment. I strive to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to grow, and empowered to make lasting changes that extend well beyond our sessions. My goal isn’t simply to help you cope—it’s to help you build a life that feels more connected, balanced, and aligned with who you truly are.
Great to meet you!Hi! I’m Dr. Jessica Torres, and I’m so glad you’re here. Taking the step to seek support can feel vulnerable, and I want you to know that reaching out is courageous. I also work with adolescents (middle and high school, girls and boys) navigating anxiety, depression, anger, grief, self-esteem challenges, identity exploration, LGBTQ+ concerns, and eating or behavioral issues. Additionally, I support couples navigating relationship transitions, communication struggles, and family-building stressors.

I am a licensed APRN ,PMHNP with training in both general medicine and psychiatry, offering a comprehensive and integrative approach to patient care.
