Top therapists in Florida accepting new patients
I hold an M.S. in Counseling from the University of Vermont, a Vermont LCMHC license and a Florida telehealth registration. I have been meeting with clients for individual therapy for over four years. The people I work with come to therapy with a range of concerns — including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, and the experience of feeling 'stuck' without quite knowing why. I view the therapeutic relationship as central to the work.
Hi, I'm Dr. Rachel Keitelman, a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adults navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, life transitions, burnout, and the lasting impact of difficult life experiences. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely understood, not judged or rushed. Together, we'll work to better understand your experiences, strengthen your relationships, and help you create a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. My goal is to provide a warm, thoughtful space where meaningful and lasting change can happen.
I bring over 13 years of experience since graduating from Boston University, and throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to work with both children and adults. Today, my focus is primarily on supporting adults navigating life’s stressors and transitions, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. As a bilingual and bicultural therapist, I understand how culture and language shape our identities and the way we experience the world. Together, we’ll work to identify what truly helps you feel better and move forward in a way that feels authentic to you.
I believe that seeking therapy is a sign of strength, not weakness. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with extensive experience working in hospital and trauma settings, I’ve had the privilege of helping people navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, or a major life transition, we’ll work together to understand what’s keeping you stuck and develop practical tools to help you move forward.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and strengths-based counseling. I believe every person has resilience, even when it doesn’t feel that way, and therapy can help you reconnect with that strength.
I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself, asking difficult questions, and making progress at a pace that feels right for you.
In the words of Kawhi Leonard "I'm a fun guy". I take therapy very seriously but I'm also very chill and friendly.
