As Clinical Director and Qualified Supervisor at Behavioral Turning Point, my professional trajectory demonstrates a steadfast dedication to resolving intricate mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. With dual licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and certification as a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP), I have cultivated multifaceted expertise in clinical leadership and cross-disciplinary coordination. This foundation enables me to spearhead holistic, evidence-based treatment models that integrate behavioral health interventions with systemic support frameworks.
Additionally, I bring specialized proficiency in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) intervention, having served as Lead Behavioral Analyst guiding therapeutic programs for children. In this capacity, I designed and implemented individualized behavior modification plans rooted in applied behavioral principles, prioritizing measurable outcomes and skill development tailored to each client’s unique needs. My approach consistently aligns clinical rigor with compassionate, person-centered care to optimize long-term recovery and functional progress.
Important Scheduling Note: Due to working full-time in macro social work implementation in the public-sector, slot availability is largely limited to either lunch-hour appointments or limited weekend appointments -- which is typically appropriate for lower-acuity working adult professionals. I maintain a small caseload. If you require appointments during working hours (besides lunch slots, which are available!), I would be unable to accommodate this need.
My approach to therapy is built upon a broad and unique foundation: 15 years of distinguished military service (Army active-duty and Air Force Reserve), social work, and public health analysis.
This background provides a wealth of experience to address your unique needs. Outside of my military career, I earned my Master's in Social Work (4.0 GPA) from Barry University and have worked across the entire spectrum of care: inpatient, intensive outpatient, outpatient, telehealth, and public health.
My primary therapeutic modalities are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am also trained in a variety of other evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and many more. I attempt to learn 1 new therapy method per bi-ennium -- to stay engaged and fresh.
Hi, I’m Bianca. I work with adults who may appear high functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected underneath. You may be dealing with anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, burnout, or a major change in your life. You may also know that something needs to change without being completely sure what that change should look like.
My clients come from many different backgrounds, including civilians, service members, veterans, and military families. You do not need to be in crisis or have everything figured out before starting therapy.
