I work with adults who may feel stuck in patterns that are affecting their relationships, recovery, self-esteem, or overall quality of life. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing co-occurring substance use and eating disorders, as well as mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, and borderline personality disorder (BPD).
Many of the people I work with have spent years using unhealthy behaviors to cope with difficult emotions, trauma, perfectionism, or painful beliefs about themselves. You may understand intellectually that something needs to change but feel unsure how to actually break those patterns. My goal is to help you understand where these patterns come from, develop healthier ways of coping, and begin creating a life that feels more aligned with who you want to be.
In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, live music, thrifting, cuddling my animals, reading, and outdoor activities.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe that mental health is vital to creating a balanced life. I understand that change is difficult, and it is not easy to ask for help! I enjoy working with people aged 18 and over with a variety of challenges. I have specialized experience in depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, personality disorders, substance use and addictions.
If you're the friend everyone calls for advice but you're falling apart on the inside, the one who looks fine, performs fine, keeps it together in every group chat and every meeting, I work with you. Anxiety that doesn't show on the outside. Burnout you can't admit to. A relationship, breakup, or career shift that cracked something open. I've spent years in acute care settings sitting with people at their most vulnerable moments. I've learned throughout the years surface-level conversations don't get us anywhere, let's dive in to the root of the issue.
