There are few things in life that are priceless, but mental health is one of them. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of trust, respect and alliance. As a licensed clinician, I believe that each of us has a responsibility, a duty, to become the best versions of ourselves. I also believe that as humans we already possess the tools and knowledge to achieve that goal. As your therapist, it is important to understand your therapeutic goals, your personal struggles, and to highlight the tools/gifts that you already possess. All of this is achieved through open and truthful communication, consistency, and respect. My goal is to accompany you on your journey to wellness.
Allow me to introduce myself! I'm a queer identifying systems therapist who's passionate and committed to fostering positive change through a holistic path to well-being. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Counseling and Guidance from The University of Texas–Pan American, which I completed in 2015. Since 2016, I have worked in a variety of mental health settings, including outpatient health clinics.
Throughout my experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work with individuals from different backgrounds and with a variety of needs. I primarily work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions.
I work hard to create a safe, empathic, and authentic environment. I believe I can best help clients by listening to their story and being a fellow traveler in their lives. I have found a passion for working with a great array of individuals but particularly enjoy working with families, couples, the LGBTQ+ community, and sex therapy. I find the best work I do is simply when I connect with a client. I have my masters from SMU and have done specialized training in Gottman, EFT, and sex therapy.
Reaching out for support can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I believe healing begins when you feel truly seen, heard, and accepted. My goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can be yourself, explore what’s weighing on you, and discover your own strength. I work with teens, adults, women, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the stress that comes with everyday life. As a bilingual counselor fluent in English and Spanish, I also understand how culture, family expectations, and personal experiences can shape our emotional well-being. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, develop practical tools, and work toward the life you want to create—one step at a time.
