I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. My undergraduate B.A and graduate M.A. training took place at Wheaton College. Following graduate school in the midwest, I moved to the west coast, where I attended the California School of Professional Psychology. Here, I earned a M.A in applied psychology and Psy. D. in clinical psychology with a dual emphasis in forensics and family therapy. My research consisted of working with high risk sexual offenders. Following my time on the west coast, I worked as a Staff Psychologist and Assistant Professor at a local university. In my free time, I train in combat arts and play guitar (try at least ;-).

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 10 years of experience seeing clients using an eclectic approach to treatment. I utilize humanistic, cognitive behavioral, solution focused and other approaches to help you achieve what you seek from your therapy.
I specialize in helping clients to truly get to know themselves and the thoughts in their head (whether conscious or subconscious) to break patterns, decrease people-pleasing, increase self-esteem, relieve stress and anxiety, address interpersonal issues, and increase their life satisfaction. Sometimes in life, we might feel stuck in a rut. My role is to help you work yourself out of that rut. I use cognitive behavioral therapy to modify your thoughts and in turn your behavior. I also use interpersonal therapy to increase effectiveness within your relationships. Solution focused therapy helps me, to help you, find the answers or resources that are already within you.
I have a License in Clinical Social Work and have a background working in both child welfare and community mental health. I've worked with countless families, parents, children, and adolescent. I see my client's as part of a system; recognizing that our environment influences our development in childhood and throughout adulthood. I believe that with insight and cognitive reframing, we can take control of our lives.
You don’t have to go through life’s challenges on your own. With almost 10 years of experience, I provide support to individuals dealing with anxiety, burnout, trauma, and stress, as well as those exploring AAPI and gender identity issues. I also work with children and teens who are managing emotional and behavioral challenges. My style is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to meet your individual needs. I hold a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from CSUSB. Whether you’re feeling stuck or striving for personal growth, I’m here to help!
I’m a therapist who values honesty, curiosity, and real connection in the therapy process. My style is direct but compassionate. I’ll meet you where you are while also gently challenging the patterns that may be holding you back. I draw from evidence-based approaches and tailor our work to fit your specific needs, rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. Clients often appreciate that our work feels both practical and deeply reflective.
