Top therapists in Florida accepting new patients
I graduated from The Ohio State University with my DNP in 2020 focusing on efficient pathways to implement depression screening post-stroke to identify mental health needs. After working a couple years as a nurse practitioner within neurosurgery, I transitioned from Ohio to Florida and pursued my PMHNP certification from Florida State University. Over the past 5 years I have been treating psychiatric needs in LTC around Florida. I am currently working to expand into independent practice and work personally with individuals creating a therapeutic relationship and enhancing their mental health.
I believe our mental health is key to living a healthy, productive life. I support people who may find themselves stuck in guilt, shame, denial, complacency, anger, anxiety, depression, or patterns that are affecting their relationships and day-to-day life. I work with clients navigating family issues, identity concerns, trauma, PTSD, panic, grief, and stress that can leave them feeling overwhelmed or disconnected from themselves. I enjoy being on the journey with individuals as they work through their issues and become the version of themselves they already knew existed.
Hello, and I’m glad you’re here. Whether this is your first experience with therapy or you’ve been in therapy before, reaching out can be a big step. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable being yourself and talking openly about what’s going on.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 20 years of experience providing therapy and leading clinical teams. My background includes community mental health, residential mental health and substance use treatment, and crisis services. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with adults, children, adolescents, and families navigating a wide range of concerns and life experiences.
I have advanced training and experience supporting people with trauma, anxiety and depression, substance use, grief and loss, and the unique challenges faced by children and adolescents. I believe therapy should be collaborative and tailored to you—not a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we’ll identify what you want to work on, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you move toward the life you want.
I have a passion for working with tough teens and women who face challenges managing their emotions and behavior and I enjoy walking along side parents struggling to be their best.
With over 30 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with children, teens and adults in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, schools, healthcare settings and private practice.

Therapy with Lived Wisdom
With over 20 years of experience walking alongside individuals on their healing journeys, I bring more than clinical knowledge—I bring lived understanding. My work is rooted in the mind-body connection, because true healing doesn’t just happen in the mind. It happens in the nervous system, in the body, and in the deeper layers of the self.
Choosing a therapist is a sacred step. If you’re wondering how to choose, I invite you to ask: “Do they do their own work? Have they sat in the depths they’ll be guiding me through?”
I have. I’ve lived the unraveling. I’ve done the deep inner work. And I’ve found my way through.
Now, I offer a steady, compassionate presence to help you find yours. You don’t have to do this alone.
Let me walk with you.
